Police Defused Two Bombs at Bayero University

Barely two weeks after 16 worshippers including two lecturers were killed at Students Followership centre in Bayero University in Kano, the university security officials today found two locally made bombs at the school premises. It will be recalled that the 16 persons were killed by men of the dreaded Islamist group [Boko Haram] on Sunday at church service. Sources told “Daily Post” that the bombs were discovered at the faculty of law and faulty of science respectively by the institution security men and it was immediately defused by security operatives. According to Kano State Police Spokesman, ASP Musa Majia who confirmed the incident said the bombs have been defused by the special anti-bomb squad of the state police command.
