“She loves me. So she must be jealous. If I am laughing with a particular girl too much or I am going the way that I am not supposed to go, or if one girl is following me too much, she will be there to caution me. She definitely has to be protective of her man. At that point, she can tell such a girl, ‘hold your side!’ And if it is I that is doing it, she could tell me, ‘cool down, I dey here o.’ He said this while granting an interview to the Nation’s newspaper, where he bared his mind on life as a married man, the alleged scandals that have trailed his career for years and his relationship with his babies’ mothers. Addressing the recent rumor where he allegedly impregnated a banker, he said “of course it is not true. Initially, nobody said whether it was true or not. So what I did was to correct whatever impression from my twitter page. But the story still went on. It is a serious matter because now I am married. So it is unfair for anyone to put out such story about me, perhaps because they want to sell their medium or sell their blog. It is really totally unfair to me, especially now that I am married. If I wasn’t married, we would have laughed over the matter. But now, I am. So I do not expect that people will play over such issues of emotion at this time of my life. On how he’s been coping with fame “It feels good, but it is a lot of challenges, a lot of non-privacy. So many things are being flung your way, temptations, and if you are not careful, you get swept off by the evil tide. There are so many hazards in being famous and if you can’t control yourself, you get carried away within a short time. It is not all smooth- sailing. I can tell you that it is not all glamour. For instance, I enter into an event, a place and I walk straight to go and find a seat for myself to sit. But before I know it, some people will take it personal. Meanwhile, if someone else does it, it is seen as normal and accepted. So when I enter a place, I have to move around first and greet people. That is why you see me say ‘I hail o’ each time I enter a place. But you know, it is not all the time that you are in a good mood to be so friendly. But because you are famous, whether you are in a good mood or not, you have to put on a smile and greet people. Else, if you do not do that as a celebrity, such things will make you to easily make enemies. You actually make enemies without even realizing it. That is the crazy part of being a celebrity and a famous person.” Speaking on the joy of his marriage, he said “So far so good, married life is cool. We don dey do wetin married people dey do. We don dey sidon together, we go laugh, we go quarrel small (laughs), we go come hold each other again as if no be us quarrel some moments ago. Life has been kind to us since we got married. We have been living happily ever after. We try to live our lives our own way. We have never had cause to introduce a third party in our home. When we have a problem, we sort it out between ourselves. We don’t call anybody in to come and solve our problems for us. We sit down and talk about it. Like I said earlier, sometimes, we quarrel when both of us are stubborn over a matter. But we do not involve a third party!” Re-affirming why he chose Annie and left the other baby mamas, he said,“I have been fortunate enough to have met a couple of nice ladies in life and two of them even have children for me. But I think that Annie and I understand each other more. As with matters of the heart, it is very difficult sometimes to find the right words to explain it. Somehow, you just know that this is the particular person that you want to stay with. performances by Nigeria’s hip hop super
stars as well as the huge turnout of
students to round up the thrilling Tuface
and friends campus connect tour sponsored

Nigerian’s Afro hip hop singing sensation,
Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly called
Tuface, and other talented musicians.
The Campus Connect gig train which was
received in Benin City, Port Harcourt, Enugu
and Abuja had several budding and notable
artistes thrilling their fans. They include:
Ranson, Money B, Hype M.C, Efa, Young
Grace, 2Sec, Rocksteady, Damy Crane, Sheyi
Shay, Rough Coil, Vector, Solid Star, Phyno,
Sound Sultan and the winner of Amstel
Malta Show time in 2012, Same .
Music lovers in Lagos got more than they
bargained for as these music acts offered
interactive music renditions which drew
endless applause and joyful moments from
them. The mammoth crowd, comprising
students from University of Lagos, Yaba
College of Technology, Lagos State
Polytechnic and Adeniran Ogunsanya
College of Education Lagos defied the heavy
downpour to enjoy music performance by
Tuface and friends.
Speaking on behalf of the Brand Manager,
Amstel Malta, Miss Hannatu Ageni Yusuf
expressed her appreciation for the
impressive turn out and the outstanding
musical performances. “Amstel Malta has
always championed and advanced the
course of youths by encouraging them to be
the best that they can be. Tonight’s
performance is also a clear demonstration
of being able to connect to the University
students and the good people of Lagos”.
She added that “The Amstel Malta brand
has a penchant for promoting good values
in the youths in a bid to chart a good
course for Nigeria as a nation. TuFace and
his friends have been awesome and Amstel

Nigerian Breweries is indeed delighted to be

She promised that the next edition will be
bigger and more exciting as the team will
do a proper analysis to adjust and add on
some ideas to create that moment of
interaction with Nigerian hip hop stars and
the students.
The audience received Tuface with
uncontrollable chants of excitement. Apart
from churning out some his iconic music
tracks, TuFace also pepped up his
performance with a repertoire of
chorographers while he perfected the act of
singing as well as skilfully manoeuvring his
lanky gait. With cans of Amstel Malta in
their hand, Tuface proved to his fans for
the umpteenth time why he is unarguably
one of Nigeria’s hottest musical exports to
the global scene.
The crowd cheered endlessly as 2Face
recreated his popular tracks with
improvisations. Tracks such as ‘For
instance’, ‘Bush meat’, ‘Nfana Ibaga’, ‘U no
holy pass’, ‘See me so’, ‘No shaking’, ‘Enter
the place’, ‘Implication’, and his hit track
from his recent‘ Away and Beyond’ album
tagged ‘Ihe neme’. Certainly, TuFace backed
by his friends lived up to his billing as one
of Nigeria’s top acts, he also provided the
undergraduates with the opportunity to be
the best they can be.

Snoop Lion, Tuface, Davido, Ice Prince gear up for MTV Africa All Stars

MTV Africa All Stars sponsored by The KwaZulu-Natal
Province is set to hold the Lagos leg of the urban club
tour featuring performances by Tuface, Davido and
Ice Prince at the Federal Palace Hotel on April 13,
2013.
Having already visited Durban on March 28, the
Nairobi leg would hold on April 5 and will feature
artistes like Madtraxx, STL, P-Unit, Camp Mulla and
Kanja. The three-city African All Stars tour will come
to a close with a concert in Durban, South Africa, on
May 18, 2013 and will be hosted by multi-platinum

“It’s not strange to receive support from Governor Akpabio, he is like a father to Annie” – 2face

2face Idibia has stated that people should not be
angry over the support he received from various
personalities, as he married his longtime girlfriend,
Annie Macaulay.
The couples’ union has been laced with so many
controversies, especially the gifts they received from
public officers like a Toyota Prado SUV and a 2013
Chevy Corvette Sports car, but 2face says, “I don’t
feel strangely for getting support for our wedding. I
am just happy and that is the most important thing.”
Speaking specifically about Akwa Ibom State Governor,
Godswill Akpabio, he made it clear that, ”My wife is
from Akwa Ibom State and the governor of the state
is like a father to her.
“The governor said he was doing all these because he
loves his daughter and I don’t think I should feel
anyhow because a father is showering his daughter
blessings. I don’t believe anybody should feel
anyhow, it is a celebration mood, so everybody should
be happy.”

Kola Ologbondiyan, the Special Adviser on Media &
Publicity to the President of the Senate, David Mark,
has released an official press statement, debunking
allegations that the Senator gave 2face Idibia a N47m
Ferrari, as a wedding gift.
The statement read:
Senator Mark did not visit Dubai for Tuface
wedding rather he attended the 128th Inter
parliamentary Union (IPU) conference currently
holding in Quito, Ecuador. Click to continue.
He was also not represented at Mr. Idibia’s
wedding. It is also instructive to state that the
President of the Senate, Senator Mark, did not
make a car donation of any kind to Tuface before
departing Nigeria for Ecuador neither did he
purchase nor send any car to Dubai as a wedding
gift for the musician or his wife.
Who made the donation on behalf of the President
of the Senate?
It is therefore a puerile lie for anybody to state
that Senator Mark bought a Ferrari car worth
N47m for Tuface.
The allegation is wicked, ridiculous and
irresponsible.

Idoma artistes congratulate Tuface as he weds Annie in Dubai today

2face and Annie
Today in the shores of Dubai, African Queen crooner,
Innocent Ujah Idibia would say ‘I Do’ to his long-time
girl friend and baby mama, Annie Macaulay.
Tuface’s journey into marriage, which he began with
Annie Macaulay on Friday, March 15 would be
completed today, amid pomp and pageantry in Dubai.
The epoch-making wedding will hold today at the
Sefinah Ballroom of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.
Reception will hold at the prestigious Royal Island
Beach, as guests will be conveyed in luxury boats
from the wedding venue, with the after party
scheduled to hold at Nigerian Owned club, Kiza Nite
Club.
Guests at the wedding are currently lodged in four
different hotels, namely Frazier Suites, D Atlantis
Hotels, Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Annie and her family, Klieg Light learnt, will stay at
Jumeirah Beach Hotel, while 2face, Dbanj, Don Jazzy,
Davido, Timaya and Iyanya will be at Burj Al Arah.
D’banj, Faze, Sound Sultan, Tony Tetuila, Dotun
Omoteye and Hycinth Idibia will serve as 2face
Idibia’s groomsmen with Larry Gaga, the artiste’s
childhood friend, being his best man.
Sources also confirmed that the spend thrift Governor
of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio will personally
lead a delegation of 20 persons to Dubai, including
the bride’s parents and other members of the family
from Akwa Ibom State. In addition, Senator Florence
Ita-Giwa will also be present at the event.
Last week, the celebrity couple were beneficiaries of
the Governor’s largesse when they received a brand
new Toyota Prado SUV apiece. Although the
Governor’s lavish spending drew flaks from many
Nigerians, however, the Governor’s action was quickly
justified in a statement by the Commissioner for
Information, Aniekan Umana.
“That looking carefully at the surrounding events in
perspective, Mrs. Annie Idibia, nee Macaulay is a
daughter of Akwa Ibom State and the gift of a Prado
SUV from her Governor is only a gesture of love and
goodwill,” the statement had read.
DailyPost gathered that the wedding, put at an
estimated of N50 million, is being organised and
managed by Oaken Events.
Meanwhile, the Conference of Idoma Artises (CIDA)
has congratulated one of their own as he bids
farewell to bachelorhood.
CIDA in a statement signed its PRO; Ameh Comrade
Godwin wished Tuface a happy married life.
“On behalf of all members of CIDA, we congratulate
our own Tuface Idibia as he settles down with his
heartthrob, Annie Macaulay. We are happy and pray
that God would give you strength to continue to make
the Idoma Kingdom proud. Happy married life.”

Guests leave for Dubai today to attend Tuface’s superlative wedding

Nigeria R&B star and ‘African Queen’ crooner, 2face
Idibia, has released the details of his white wedding
to Annie Macauley, holding in Dubai, the United Arab
Emirates this weekend.
According to the statement, the couple have invited
250 guests from Nigeria to be part of the wedding.
The guests are expected to leave Nigeria for Dubai on
Thursday as the two-day event kicks off on Friday and

I’m yet to decide whether I will accept Governor Akpabio’s cars – 2face Idibia

Superstar singer, 2face Idibia, has stated that he is
not sure if he will accept the cars Governor Godswill
Akpabio presented to him and his wife, Annie
Macaulay-Idibia, during their traditional marriage.
The Akwa Ibom state first citizen, announced that he
was giving the celebrity couple two brand new Toyota
Prado SUVs, as they tied the knots traditionally on
Friday. He also promised to send a 29-man delegation
from the state to Dubai, where the much anticipated
white wedding will take place.
The announcement has attracted a lot of controversy,
with many observers insisting that Akpabio should
have sunk in the money into various projects crying
for attention in the state.
However, in a phone conversation, Bayo Omisore,
2face Idibia’s spokesman said: “The governor made a
promise, when the cars come, we will decide whether
to accept them or not. We cannot take a decision on
the basis of a promise that is yet to be fulfilled.”
He also denied knowledge of the caustic criticisms
that have trailed the donation.
