“It’s not strange to receive support from Governor Akpabio, he is like a father to Annie” – 2face

2face Idibia has stated that people should not be
angry over the support he received from various
personalities, as he married his longtime girlfriend,
Annie Macaulay.
The couples’ union has been laced with so many
controversies, especially the gifts they received from
public officers like a Toyota Prado SUV and a 2013
Chevy Corvette Sports car, but 2face says, “I don’t
feel strangely for getting support for our wedding. I
am just happy and that is the most important thing.”
Speaking specifically about Akwa Ibom State Governor,
Godswill Akpabio, he made it clear that, ”My wife is
from Akwa Ibom State and the governor of the state
is like a father to her.
“The governor said he was doing all these because he
loves his daughter and I don’t think I should feel
anyhow because a father is showering his daughter
blessings. I don’t believe anybody should feel
anyhow, it is a celebration mood, so everybody should
be happy.”
