Idoma artistes congratulate Tuface as he weds Annie in Dubai today

Today in the shores of Dubai, African Queen crooner,
Innocent Ujah Idibia would say ‘I Do’ to his long-time
girl friend and baby mama, Annie Macaulay.
Tuface’s journey into marriage, which he began with
Annie Macaulay on Friday, March 15 would be
completed today, amid pomp and pageantry in Dubai.
The epoch-making wedding will hold today at the
Sefinah Ballroom of Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.
Reception will hold at the prestigious Royal Island
Beach, as guests will be conveyed in luxury boats
from the wedding venue, with the after party
scheduled to hold at Nigerian Owned club, Kiza Nite
Club.
Guests at the wedding are currently lodged in four
different hotels, namely Frazier Suites, D Atlantis
Hotels, Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Annie and her family, Klieg Light learnt, will stay at
Jumeirah Beach Hotel, while 2face, Dbanj, Don Jazzy,
Davido, Timaya and Iyanya will be at Burj Al Arah.
D’banj, Faze, Sound Sultan, Tony Tetuila, Dotun
Omoteye and Hycinth Idibia will serve as 2face
Idibia’s groomsmen with Larry Gaga, the artiste’s
childhood friend, being his best man.
Sources also confirmed that the spend thrift Governor
of Akwa Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio will personally
lead a delegation of 20 persons to Dubai, including
the bride’s parents and other members of the family
from Akwa Ibom State. In addition, Senator Florence
Ita-Giwa will also be present at the event.
Last week, the celebrity couple were beneficiaries of
the Governor’s largesse when they received a brand
new Toyota Prado SUV apiece. Although the
Governor’s lavish spending drew flaks from many
Nigerians, however, the Governor’s action was quickly
justified in a statement by the Commissioner for
Information, Aniekan Umana.
“That looking carefully at the surrounding events in
perspective, Mrs. Annie Idibia, nee Macaulay is a
daughter of Akwa Ibom State and the gift of a Prado
SUV from her Governor is only a gesture of love and
goodwill,” the statement had read.
DailyPost gathered that the wedding, put at an
estimated of N50 million, is being organised and
managed by Oaken Events.
Meanwhile, the Conference of Idoma Artises (CIDA)
has congratulated one of their own as he bids
farewell to bachelorhood.
CIDA in a statement signed its PRO; Ameh Comrade
Godwin wished Tuface a happy married life.
“On behalf of all members of CIDA, we congratulate
our own Tuface Idibia as he settles down with his
heartthrob, Annie Macaulay. We are happy and pray
that God would give you strength to continue to make
the Idoma Kingdom proud. Happy married life.”
