“My Husband won’t fail,”First Lady blames insecurity on opposition

The Nigeria first Lady hardly ever speak with much rage in the media, but Dame Patience Jonathan as she is fondly called had in Yenegoa vented his anger on those who are set out to discredit the administration of her husband, blaming the current spate of insecurity on disgruntled politicians and oppositions who have made her husband to look so inefficient. The Nigerian first lady stated this in Yenagoa, the state capital of Bayelsa State, at the weekend in a state visit with some indigenes of the state to a thanksgiving dance to celebrate with the speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Kombowei Benson. Mrs Jonathan who was at the assemblies to the Kingdom of Grace Mission in Yenagoa with other prominent leaders affirmed that even with the continuous threat of insecurity in the country through some oppositions who have devised a way of frustrating the administration of her husband , the administration would achieve the purpose with which it was called to do. “My husband is a man of peace. The crises in the country are being handled and it is of great concern to the president. Those involved in these acts should know that the president did not put himself into power and all they are doing to disrupt and derail the peaceful co-existence of the country will fail,” Mrs. Jonathan asserted.
