MIMI – Over You

Fast-rising Afrobeats and Afro Pop Singer/Songwriter MIMI as she joins forces with burgeoning producer and long-term collaborator O.Y to create the massive new single titled “Over You”. Laced with heavy synths, lush drum kicks and an infectiously catchy hook, “Over You” is a defiant ladies anthem for 2012 which sees Mimi putting her cheating partner in their place once and for all in sublime fashion as she completely owns this Afrobeats and Afro Pop genre-fusing musical milieu with her sultry vocals, sexy harmonies and excellently written lyrics. For as long as she can remember, emerging Afrobeats and Afro Pop Singer/Songwriter Mimi has always been very passionate about her music and has sung since the tender age of 12. bludgeoned and nurtured in Church, Mimi’s singing talents and dexterities shown all through her teenage years and are bursting at the seams, ready to unveiled to the world. Describing her music as having a strong personality that excellently expresses and highlights her interesting emotions, Mimi – who loves making music and the pleasure that her music brings to others – cannot wait to show herself musically to all who will listen.
