Atletico Madrid’s star man, Radamel Falcao, who has been linked with a move to the Premiership for a long time, has admitted that he will play in the English League soon. The 26-year-old Colombian, said he is a big fan of the leagueand had a few idols from his childhood, as he grew up watching the EPL. “England? One day, I could go. It is a game I have watched for a long time and one day I would like to sample it,” Falcao told The Times. “I used to watch it on television when I was a kid. Players like Roy Keane, Eric Cantona, [Gianfranco] Zola. But the one I supported was [Faustino] Asprilla, when he was at Newcastle. “I think I could adapt to England. I think I could score goals.” Falcao scored 24 times last season in 34 appearances for Los colchoneros and netted a hat-trick against Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup.
