I hate arranging my wardrobe, absolutely detest it. So I try to keep it tidy. However, sooner or later my closet starts looking like a hurricane hit it. That was the state of things a few days ago. So,I had to arrange it. Whilst sorting through my clothes I found a red skirt I bought a long time ago. I almost put it back in my closet, but something stopped me. Iasked myself why I wanted to keep it, I hadn’t worn it in years and I wouldn’t wear it again so there was no point keeping it, I said to myself “It’s time to let go”
Cool Story.
What I’m trying to say we all have that one thing we are holding on to even when it’s useless to us or it hurts us to do so. Be it an old piece of clothing like my case, a sentiment, an unrealistic goal,or a relationship.
You hold someone in high regard but the person is not living up to expectations, Be smart and stop expecting so much you are only setting up yourself for disappointment.
You have something you are doing that’s affecting all other areas of your life, but you keep doing it expecting things to get better? That’s not how it works. You have to drop whatever it is like a hot plate and move on.
Your friend has changed completely and you can’t relate with him/her anymore, infact you two are parrallel opposites? Yet you keep on waiting for something to happen. I’m sorry love but,Its time to cut that rope.
Some past memory you have that’s holding you back? Forget it and Move on. It’ll be ok.All I’m saying is that you look at whatever excess baggage you are carrying, revaluate it, Is it worth your time and resouces, Is it going to pay off, is it taking up unnnecssary space, Is it stoppping you from moving on, if it is. snap out of your trance and burn those bridges.
